mingw 3.4.5 missing dlfcn.h?

is it possible that my mingw 3.4.5 installation is faulty? or is this provided on some other library floating around?

dlfcn.h: No such file or directory

To solve this I had to add to the .pro file :

DEFINES += _WINDOWS
