Make a custom View.

UIView * statusBarView =[[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, self.view.bounds.size.width, 20)];
statusBarView.backgroundColor=[UIColor whiteColor];
[self.view addSubview:statusBarView];
