YUI Compressor is removing spaces from filter values

Question

I have a css containing filter for adding Grayout images in FF like this:-

filter: url(\"data:image/svg+xml;utf8,

You can add commas between the feColorMatrix values:

but that doesn't fix the issue with the spaces between: svg xmlns

would love to understand that one too.
